he United Nations for a Free Tibet is an organization entirely run by volunteers in over 40 countries. It was born out of despair and total lack of action by United Nations on the plight of Tibetan. After 60 years of repressions, Tibetans have shown great perseverance with their peaceful struggle for freedom and justice with the leadership of the Dalai Lama. As the education hold key to the alleviation of Tibetans from this suffering, we believe that supporting young Tibetan to receive modern education and especially in STEM will ensure a thriving Tibetan community who will continue their peaceful struggle for freedom and Justice.
We currently sponsor over 40 children from the remote region of Himalaya to be able to go to boarding schools for higher education. Occasionally, UNFFT has supported various projects to preserve Tibetan culture. With your generous help, we will be able to support more children to be able to access best schools and resources.
The UNFFT is a member of Amnesty International, a friend of Forum 2000 and a life member of the Australia Tibet Council.
