FEBRUARY 13: COMMEMORATING TIBET’S LEGACY

FEBRUARY 13: COMMEMORATING TIBET’S LEGACY

Leading on from the 2013 commemoration of the 100 year anniversary of the reassertion of Tibetan independence, a number of Tibet groups are continuing to use 13 February as a key date to celebrate the great legacy of the Tibetan Empire. Students for a Free Tibet are leading the celebrations of the legacy to counter China’s false claims to Tibet and asserting determination for freedom.

This page has been developed to help groups who would like to take part in plans for 13 February and provides links to materials prepared by Network Member Groups. If any other groups have information/materials to share please let us know.
