We are deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Tsewang Choegyal – TC – Tethong.

As DIIR Kalon in 2000 TC Tethong was extremely supportive of the founding of International Tibet Network. We feel honoured to have worked with him during this time and give thanks for his continuous inspiration and endless effort to bring freedom to his homeland.

TC Tethong was born in Chamdo, Tibet in 1935 and came into exile shortly before the invasion by the People’s Liberation Army

We share our deepest condolences with our Co-chair Lhadon Tethong and the Tethong family, and commit to continue to strive for justice for Tibet and the Tibetan people.
